History:

The Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association Board of Presidents officially recognized in October 1993 as the Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association Washington D.C./Eastern U.S. Region. The official organization name of Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association East Coast Region (KSAA-East) was adopted in February 1999.

KSAA-East was formed by a 50 dedicated graduates who wanted to share their values, experiences, camaraderie and fellowship instilled in them while attending the Kamehameha Schools and we currently serve over 160 graduates and their families across 21 states in the Eastern United States, some Midwestern states, and Hawai'i.

Our official mailing address is: The Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association-East Coast Region (KSAA-East), PO Box 7531, Fairfax, Virginia 22039. You can also contact us immediately via our website mailbox.

We are one of 12 recognized Regions nationwide and serve the largest geographic region.  We attend quarterly Board of Presidents meetings held in Hawai'i and throughout the continental United States.  Because of our affiliation with The Kamehameha Schools Alumni Association, we share the Association's status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Federal Tax Code.

The Kamehameha Schools was founded in 1887 through the will of our Princess Bernice Pauahi Bishop whose foresight and compassion for the Hawaiian people perpetuates the Legacy of Ke Ali`i Kamehameha.

 I mua Kamehameha!
