The
environmental mission of
Tangaloa Prime Corporation, an eco-commercial
company, is to help "save the rainforests"
for our children's legacy with Tangaloa Prime
hardwood.
Both in actual practice and as a measure of its
beliefs, Tangaloa's environmental mission speaks
to our deep concerns about the kind of world we
shall leave our children. The challenging and
costly effort to develop its Tangaloa Prime high-quality
hardwood from a non-rainforests resource
underscores that concern and belief.
With the successful completion of its
wood development, Tangaloa holds the key to
"saving" our world's rainforests now.

"Stop
cutting the trees!" |
Environmentally,
the raw resource for Tangaloa hardwood is an agricultural
waste and consists of billions of senile Tangaloa coco
palms that are past their productive years. They
are found on thousands of old and abandoned copra
plantations around the world, the result of collapsed
world markets for high-fat coconut oil from copra (dried
coconut meat), many years ago.
Today, copra plantations, many of which were
established in colonial days, have been reduced in size
or simply abandoned. Today, billions of old and
non-productive trees, with no intrinsic value and use,
crowd third-world landscapes. Today, the old trees are
either cut to replant with new trees or simply left to
fall and rot. Today, Tangaloa changes all of that and
transforms a major agricultural residue into a critcally
important forestry product. Today, the
dimensions of the Tangaloa resource can save millions of
rainforest giants and their precious ecologies.
