Tangaloa Prime Select Grade

Prime Select is Tangaloa’s premium grade, pre-finished hardwood. The full Tangaloa process, from milling to pre-finishing, results in a polished, mirror-smooth, natural-oil finish with rich hues  and colors that range from golden to near ebony. Tangaloa Prime Select hardwood is resistant to moisture, heat, scuff marks and marring.

Prime Select makes beautiful and unique flooring and panelling that is easy to maintain. This is the wood that can create heir-loom quality furniture and cabinetry. Because of its hardness, non-toxic finish and moisture and heat resistant qualities, this wood makes excellent food servers and utility boards. Exposed beams, banisters, doors, trims, and mouldings make striking accents in any design environment. Indeed, Prime Select will satisfy any need for rare beautiful wood.

Tangaloa Prime Grade

Tangaloa Prime hardwood has all the wood qualities and usages of Prime Select, except for the pre-finishing process, and is easily colored and protected with conventional stains and coverings.

Tangaloa RS Stockwood

RS Stockwood is rough-sawn Tangaloa wood for woodworkers, mills, joineries and manufacturers that do not require dressed or 4-sides smooth material.

All grades can be ordered in standard stockwood sizes or pre-cut to customized dimensions. Available in metric and U.S. customary measurements.
